Mooresville, NC – David Coble officially announces his candidacy for the Town of
Mooresville office of Commissioner At Large.
“It is not enough to just say you are for the tax payer,” Coble said. “Tax payers deserve someone who can be an effective policy maker to accomplish things on their behalf. I can do that.”
Coble has been a resident of Mooresville since 2001 and lives here with his wife Amanda and three children. He has worked in the private sector for over a decade developing expertise in process design, budget and large initiative management. Coble has served the Town of Mooresville as Chairman of the MI-Connection Citizen Advisory Panel and is currently Chairman of the Mooresville Capital Improvement Program Advisory Committee. In addition he is a member of The Rotary Club of Top of the Lake Mooresville, and is serving as their Service Projects Chair.
“I believe Mooresville is at an exciting crossroads,” Coble stated. “Our continued growth is bringing new opportunities as well as challenges that must be managed. The key to doing so lies in finding ways to work together. If you adopt a “my way or the highway” approach, you only serve to alienate others and inhibit your ability to be an effective leader. Success means working together.”
Moving forward Coble will continue studying Mooresville’s governmental structure and communicate with voters. His campaign will focus on managing growth, supporting new and existing small businesses as well as fiscal responsibility.
